A "Palmerophile" owner who always enjoys flying to the "Isla Bonita", the "beautiful island", and enjoying the landscape, the sea, the swimming pool, the beautiful gardens, the many hikes, the salt pans in the south, the boat trips along the cliffs, the magnificent view of the island from the highest mountain, the "Roque, 2400 m", and romping around with the grandchildren.
Even in summer, the island delights many hikers and those seeking peace and quiet thanks to its three climate zones: subtropical, Central European and Alpine.
Even though there's a lovely pool next to the villa, swimming in the Atlantic, for example in Puerto Tazacorte or Puerto Naos, remains a special treat! In addition to the beautiful natural surroundings, the owner enjoys the island's ever-improving wines and excellent fish.

A GOOD HOLIDAY must include a suitable holiday home. Discerning guests expect comfort, charming scenery, and tranquility. Villa Atlantico is a beautifully situated architect-designed villa on the sunny west side of the Canary Island of La Palma, offering panoramic views of the Atlantic, a heated pool, and a sauna. No view of plastic-covered banana plantations. The villa was completed in 2009 in a quiet, secluded location on a very large plot. No through road—private path to the villa, parking in front of the villa. Very comfortably furnished, with visible Palmerian wooden interior roof construction, floor-to-ceiling windows, fiber optic internet access with Wi-Fi. Private, heated outdoor pool, which can be covered only for tenants; garden furniture, sun loungers, and umbrellas on three terraces; a constantly manicured 3600 sqm subtropical garden with lawns, seating areas, year-round flowering shrubs, Canarian pines, almond trees, and, in the fallow area, prickly pears, whose thorns must be warned especially children. Karola H.'s statement speaks for itself: "Once a villa, always a villa!" - The private pool, the peace and quiet, and the landscape offer a relaxing holiday atmosphere! There are around 100 hiking trails of varying difficulty levels. Guided tours are available.
Information about the area
The immediate surroundings are our 2-hectare private property with a park-like garden, almond trees, prickly pears, Canary Island pines in the surrounding private fallow land - and - no view of plastic-covered banana plantations!
The town center of Tijarafe is about 5 km away, with a 200 m elevation gain. There you'll find groceries, a pharmacy, several Spanish tapas bars, and—importantly—a health center, the "Centro Salud," which is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!
Hiking is possible from the villa. Guided hikes into the nature reserve or along the "volcano route" to the south can be booked on site. Alpine tours are also offered. We are happy to assist.
